After a little or may be a major chaos at Bangalore airport, I have safely and smoothly travelled to USA. My colleagues have helped me majorly to adjust to all of a sudden changed environment. One major difference that I have found here is every thing is machine-ized. You have machines for everything. One need not depend on natural resources much. To unlock the room, there is a card, unlike lock and key system in India. This reminded me of the movie Pretty Woman where Richard Complained of the card or something like that while unlocking his system. The hotel, I am staying in is pretty decent and the best part is free Wi-fi. I have no phone connection, so internet connectivity is the only way to communicate back at home. Bathrooms are just amazingly changed here. I noticed a bathing tub and thought it was just an option and there would be a shower facility as well, only till I found that bathing tub is the only option. There is nothing very exceptional that has happened on the first day besides the fact that I have made friends here at work. I find people very supportive but there could be some arrangements done to make me work efficiently. I just forgot to bring a converter here and my phone has switched off due to low charging. Ahh, how could I forget to mention that there's a complimentary breakfast provided at the hotel I am staying in. I went to take the breakfast only to find that I could actually not make out what to eat and how to eat!!! I am sure I would not repeat that tomorrow, though.
Ok, this blog looks very small and hence I would add this up with pictures I have taken at Arizona.

This is too funny. Nearly one year ago I was having almost the same experience in India. I had been to Indian restaurant buffets in the US, so I had a little training. Hopefully you will be adventurous and try some "Tex-Mex" - they should have veg dishes for you.
